Ace @Apple Interviews with LeetCode_2004 #viralvideo #trending #coding #datascience @tseries
In this video, I dive into a complex problem of optimizing the hiring process for a company with a fixed budget of $70,000 for salaries. The goal is to hire the maximum number of senior employees first, and then use any remaining budget to hire the maximum number of junior employees. Here's how I solved it step-by-step:
Organizing Candidates by Experience and Salary: I started by categorizing candidates based on their experience (Senior or Junior) and sorting them by their salary in ascending order.
Calculating Cumulative Salaries: For each experience group, I calculated the cumulative sum of salaries to determine how many candidates can be hired without exceeding the budget.
Determining Minimum Cumulative Salary for Seniors: I identified the minimum cumulative salary for senior candidates that does not exceed $70,000. If the minimum cumulative salary exceeded the budget, no senior candidates could be hired.
Determining Minimum Cumulative Salary for Juniors: Similarly, I calculated the minimum cumulative salary for junior candidates that fits within the remaining budget after hiring seniors.
Calculating Remaining Budget and Accepted Senior Candidates: I computed the remaining budget after hiring the maximum number of senior candidates and determined how many senior candidates could be accepted.
Calculating Remaining Budget and Accepted Junior Candidates: Using the remaining budget after hiring seniors, I calculated how many junior candidates could be hired.
Combining Results: Finally, I combined the results to show the number of senior and junior candidates hired under the given budget constraints.
