Future Longmont Whitewater Park

I took a few minutes this afternoon to grab some visuals on the progress of the future whitewater park part the Dickens Farm Nature Area. The whitewater park will consist of 9 features, and was slated to open spring 2018. But, based on recent info, opening may happen late summer 2018.

This project is part of the flood mitigation efforts by the City of Longmont, and was originally slated for construction in 2013. But, the September 2013 floods set back park development until 2017. Longmont, Colorado on February 15, 2018.
