ONE SECOND EVERYDAY 2021

This year has really been the hardest year of my life. I got covid mid January, I couldn’t walk properly, lost my appetite, intense fatigue and increased anxiety. I had blood tests, X-rays, numerous phone calls with the doctor and 4 months off work. I couldn’t change my bedding, I couldn’t dry my hair myself and showering was an ordeal. There were days where I would just sit and cry and be like why is everyone getting better so much quicker than me? Why is everyone else going back to work after 10 days and I’m not? Will I ever get better? I just couldn’t do anything without help.

But after 8 or 9 months I started to gain my strength, independence and confidence back and returned to work at school full time.

This year was a lot and I’m so proud of myself for getting through it.
