Episode 4: Smoke/fog Colouring Tutorial with gouache on Alien fan art

This is a quick tutorial on how to do a smoke/fog effect. I used my latest artwork of Helen Ripley from Aline to show you and if you want to watch the entire video of that artwork hit the link below.

Tools I used:

For the main subject
-Ink pens (0.1, 0.5, 0.8mm)
-Alcohol markers
-White Pigment Ink

For the smoke/fog effect
-Gouache
-Make up sponge
-Masking tape
-Huge uncomfortable box cutter

I use a 300gram Bristol paper that is thick enough to paint on with waterbased paint but is also great for alcohol markers.
