A perfect lonely world: Her | The breaking of genre conventions

I was recently tasked with creating a 5 minute video essay for my University course. I wanted to make an informative but also emotive video that explored how Spike Jonze's 2013 sci fi romance film "Her" manages to separate itself from its contemporaries by breaking the conventions of a sci fi film set into a near future world.
