Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!

There aren't any rules in my sketchbook - I draw anything around me, and because of that, my sketchbook tells my personal story.
My sketchbook is also my creative gym - I am building muscles, get out of my comfort zone, finding balance...
I filled another sketchbook, and I'll flip through it today - hopefully it'll be inspiring for you. I fill a sketchbook a month, and I know that could be kind of intimidating. Or overwhelming. And getting started is really hard when you feel overwhelmed.
So - start small. Invite yourself to do a little something. Draw your feet, your cup of coffee, something you found in the glove compartment of your car. It feels very random and simple but as soon as you start drawing, the subject becomes interesting. Your mind calms donw, you get into that wonderful creative flow, in the moment... And isn't that exactly what you were looking for in the first place?

Drawing makes you happy, so don't make it too complicated. Allow yourself some time to play, you deserve it!
Before you know it, you'll have filled a sketchbook page. And the next day or the day after, you'll fill another one. And after that, keep on going. Try making it a habit. Try planning that treat, that drawing date with yourself. Put it on your calendar and don't skip it, but make time for it, with intention and commitment.
It could be just 15 minutes. It could become a daily habit, or a weekend habit, or whatever fits your needs.
You need this, your creativity is very important. Don't put it at the bottom of your list. It belongs at the top!
