$0.00 DIY CoolBot repair

Some homesteads and many small farms use CoolBots (or Coldsnaps) and air conditioners to chill their walk-in coolers. I know a number of people that run CoolBots, and recently a friend with a veggie farm had his CoolBot stop working completely (his A/C was running fine), while his walk-in was full of product.

In this video, I took his CoolBot apart and noticed that it had some condensation in it – but luckily no components looked burned out – so I cleaned up the contacts, found another USB power supply, and got the CoolBot unit running again in short order...
