The charming Karoo town of Nieu Bethesda

The Karoo town of Nieu Bethesda is an oasis tucked in the middle of remote mountains. It is famous for the Owl House - the lifelong work of artist Helen Martins who created a sculpture garden made of concrete and glass that is mystical and beautiful.
We loved the donkey cart tour of the little town and also visiting the fossil centres in town and at nearby Ganora Guest Farm.
