British Royal Marines Band at the National Museum of the Marine Corps

October 19, 2011 - The Band of Her Majesty's Royal Marines from Rosyth in Scotland gave special performances at the National Museum of the Marine Corps.

"Indeed, long before the words 'special relationship' were uttered, there have been close ties between the British Royal Marines and the United States Marine Corps. When someone joins either of these organizations, they cease to be an individual and become part of a universal brotherhood. Both carry a great sense of honor and subscribe to a code or set of values that defines us and develop qualities such as courage, integrity and selflessness. Essentially, wherever you are in the world, if you're with another Marine, British or American, you're in good company," Sgt. J.S. Tiley, Engagement Manager for the Band of Her Majesty's Royal Marines said.
