Listening To Fog
I videotaped the fog on Twin Peaks in San Francisco, California.

A light sensor reads the changes in the light reflecting off of the fog.
The sensor activates a motor activating mechanical bellows which blows air through a custom 3-D printed pipe organ.

Honoring the fog and the fog horns of the San Francisco Bay.
We hear the fog.
We need the fog.

Seeing sound
Capturing Light
That vale of light

To hear and feel things, rather than to just see them.

The changing light                 at San Francisco       is none of your East Coast light           none of your                  pearly light of ParisThe light of San Francisco                  is a sea light                        an islandlightAnd the light of fog                 blanketing the hills            drifting in at night                 through the Golden Gate                         to lie onthe city at dawnAnd then the halcyon late mornings              after the fog burns off                 and the sun paints white houses                       with the sealight of Greece             with sharp clean shadows                   making the town look like                        it had just beenpainted
