Cello Practising: Elgar I

In this first video on “practicing the masters”, I will use the Elgar concerto to give you tips on how to make gestures that bring out the music you have in mind. I call them “sound gestures”.
I will introduce the terms “square” (holding back) and “round” (fluent / connecting) gestures.
