My 1 month of training paid off! Over the last 4 weeks I’ve provided updates on my fitness and nutrition in preparation for my first official race. I dropped 13 lbs and decreased my mile pace to 8:30. I placed 3rd in my age group and 28th out of 309 today Thank you to San Antonio RoadRunners, 1st Phorm, and all of my supports on and off social media. My goals moving forward will continue to be about running faster. My PB pace of 6:50 would have been good enough to win the overall for the 4 mile race today. Knowing that has certainly motivated me to stay committed to running. Sometime this year I’d love to stand on the top step of the podium 🥇
