Wonderland Express

The outdoor garden railway located within the Chicago Botanic Garden in Glencoe, IL, has become such a popular attraction that Wonderland Express, an indoor version, was created just for the Holiday season. This video opens with some spectacular outdoor views showing the Garden on an unusually mild winter day, then quickly moves indoors to focus on the special exhibit. Operating G gauge trains meander through miniature versions of Chicago's beloved landmarks and live foliage. The action is synced to a nostalgic soundtrack. 'Thomas' appears in the finale!
