New FOREIGN ROOMMATE In The Philippines (SCARED FILIPINO)

I have a new foreign roommate in the Philippines, and I know that my Filipino neighbour is scared about it...

Okay, maybe not really scared. But deep down inside I know that Boding is now going to have to deal with double the english. Bret Maverick has decided to make Cagayan de Oro and Mindanao his home base here in the Philippines. I couldn't be happier, because that means there will be another Canadian here making feel good videos, learning, and sharing about Northern Mindanao. Bret is friends with both Kumar and Boding (my Filipino barkada and neighbour), which is great. But I think I will have to teach Bret a little bit of Bisaya... to avoid constant nosebleeds!

In this video, you will see Bret's first morning in Cagayan de Oro. Will he always be adventuring with me and in all my videos? Nope. As we both live our own lives too. But I am happy to say he has moved in and now has a new home base away from Manila. I think this will be a great experience for him... to really connect locally and see why I love calling Northern Mindanao home!
