- Hard Mode Gears and Gambits cannot be brute forced like its normal counterpart as you can no longer have the game automatically create Gambits for you. As such, well thought out Gambits and Actions will be needed in order to succeed. Additionally, other restrictions are made for each segment. Some only allow so many robots to be summoned, so timing and placement will be vital; while others only allow so many of each element on the field at once; etc. Completing all four Gears and Gambits sections in Hard Mode awards the Gambit Technician Johnny Item.
