🧁 DIY Homemade Vanilla Extract 🧁

All you need are two ingredients to make amazing Homemade Vanilla Extract! Personally, I love homemade and artisanal vanilla because it hits different compared to commercial store-bought versions.

I'm showing you the traditional way to make it with love and patience - believe me, it's totally worth it! This recipe is incredibly easy to make and you can make a large batch which will last for many years to come as long as it's stored in a cool/dark place with the beans constantly submerged in alcohol. It takes less than 15 minutes to start a batch of vanilla extract, and then you let it work it's magic on it's own so that the vanilla beans infuse with the vodka.

✰ YOU WILL NEED ✰
Mason jar or glass bottle
Pairing jnife
Fresh vanilla beans
70 to 100 proof proof alcohol such as vodka

✰ INSTRUCTIONS SINGLE strength vanilla extract ✰
1 oz vanilla beans
8 oz alcohol

✰ INSTRUCTIONS DOUBLE strength vanilla extract ✰
2 oz vanilla beans
8 oz alcohol

✰ INSTRUCTIONS TRIPLE strength vanilla extract ✰
3 oz vanilla beans
8 oz alcohol

Split or cut ends off the vanilla beans and pour alcohol on top. Tightly close the container of choice and shake once every month for twelve months. Then you're vanilla is ready to go!
