Strike Up The Band was originally broadcast on the NBC Blue Network on October 28, 1940 and starred Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney with John Scott Trotter, Melvin Ruck, Jane Morgan, Harry Humphries, Bud McAllister, Larry Nunn, Betty Jean Haney, and Judy's sister Mary Jane, who was then going by the name Sue Garland, as "Annie".
