To record your voiceover in Filmora all you need to do is to click this microphone icon, select your microphone and click the red button.
Select this mute if you are recording over a video that already has sound so you don’t want to make a mess.

You don’t need to close this recording screen.
Position playhead where you want to record and hit record.
Now move it and record again.
Very useful.
