Milky Way Timelapse - Kagga Kamma Nature Reserve, Cederberg

A brief timelapse video of a portion of the Milky Way including Alpha Centauri, Beta Centauri, the Southern Cross and the Coalsack nebula above the spectacular Kagga Kamma Nature Reserve in the Cederberg, Western Cape, South Africa.

Filmed on the 26th November 2021 over a time period of 20 minutes from 21h30 UTC - 21h50 UTC under a fairly clear sky just before moonrise.

The night sky in this region is stunning (Bortle 1 Class) with Cape Town over 250 km away.
