I am really pleased that so many teachers are sending their students to watch this. Unfortunately some have chosen to make what they regard as 'witty' comments, which are often offensive and in just a few cases racist. Therefore I have turned the facility to make comments off.

A production from 1979. This television performance was from the original stage production in 1976. Featuring Ian McKellen as Macbeth, Judi Dench as Lady Macbeth, John Woodvine as Banquo and Bob peck as Macduff.
many of this company then appeared in the groundbreaking production of Nicholas Nickelby.
