This video features a guided tanpura drone for use as a backing track, meditation, indian music practice, and riyaz. For sleeping our channel also has 10 hour black screen versions of the three different notation patterns commonly found in Indian classical music.

The Tanpura is a sitar like instrument that lays the foundation for Indian classical music. The tanpura (or tambura) plays bass notes which the sitar, tabala, and other instruments improvise over. Pa Sa refers to Indian solfege and means Sol Do or G C in western notation.
