Memories of Glenn Miller's AAF Band
Please Note: These broadcasts and images are owned by the Estate of Glenn Miller and courtesy of Sony Legacy and the Estate of Glenn Miller. Musical selections from Glenn Miller's AAF band. These songs are taken from various recording sessions and broadcasts in the States and in England between 7/17/1943 and 11/27/1944. The final appearance/broadcast of the band was on November 17th, 1945 in Washington DC. Many members of the orchestra were reunited in a post war band under the direction of Tex Beneke in 1946.
