7: Church Teaching on Homosexuality

The Catechism of the Catholic Church says homosexuality is "intrinsically disordered." What does this actually mean? Fr. Parks and Steve Greene examine the Church's teaching about homosexuality, how it fits into the context of the Church's teaching about sex in general, and why homosexuality is not actually singled out as "intrinsically disordered" any more than other mis-uses of sex. It sounds harsh, but the Church is using philosophical language about how things work. Any time the Church says "no," she has already given a greater "yes," and with good reason!
