Broadcast FourTune Blue Mountaineers, Pretending You Care/On the Air -Duophone Junior Gramophone
Good Day YouTubers, today we have a Broadcast FourTune record with the Blue Mountaineers with I think Sam Browne on vocals, recorded January 1933. The first track is Pretending You Care and then the second track is On the Air. I like these records as you get a chance to sit down and listen for a little bit longer and also you get an introduction in between the tracks by the vocalist. Played on my Duophone Junior which is working extremely well now following a significant amount of work on the sound boxes which are extremely fiddly and in a class by themselves compared to your standard soundbox. There are more clips on my channel featuring this machine. Whilst it was a bit of a gimmicky thing in the 20s they do work very well as you can hear.I hope you enjoy the clip, please like share and subscribe if you can to see my other clips featuring Gramophones Phonographs and Curios.
