Ukraine Invasion: World Athletics bans Russian and Belarus athletes - Lord Coe

President of World Athletics, Lord Coe, has confirmed the organisation has banned Russian and Belarussian athletes from all its events for the 'foreseeable future' following the invasion of Ukraine.

The Olympic gold medallist said his sport couldn't just sit back and it was a 'modest contribution' to sanction the countries in light of the 'appalling acts of barbarity' in Ukraine.
