1. Application for BSSC Field Assistant Recruitment starts today

Bihar Staff Selection Commission has released a notification for recruitment to 201 posts of Field Assistant (Kshetra Sahayak) under the Directorate of Agriculture. The application process will start from 25 April 2025 and the last date for depositing online fees is 21 May 2025. Candidates will be able to apply for this recruitment at bssc.bihar.gov.in. Educational qualification should be ISC or Diploma in Agriculture from a recognized institute. The age limit is 37 years maximum for men of general category as on 1 March 2025. The selection process includes prelims and mains exam. Salary is ₹5200–₹20200 + ₹1900 grade pay at Level-2. The application fee ranges from Rs 135 to Rs 540 according to the category.

The 70th combined main examination of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will start from April 25 and will run till April 30. The exam will be held in two shifts on April 25, 26, 28, 29 and 30. Admit cards have been issued to more than 21 thousand candidates for 2034 posts. It is mandatory for the candidates to reach the center one hour before. The examination of General Hindi, Essay, General Studies and Optional subjects will be held on the scheduled dates. This time the candidates have been given the exemption to use a general calculator. Candidates whose photo or signature on the admit card is unclear will have to take permission by filling the prescribed format. Identity card is mandatory and only after verification will the candidate be allowed to appear in the exam.
