Room in a Castle | Gästehaus der Katholischen Akademie in Bayern | Full Video #HotelReview

This was by far the most extraordinary accommodation I ever experienced! On Booking.com it's called "Gästehaus der Katholischen Akademie in Bayern" and it's located in Munich, Germany. I booked the "Doppelzimmer" (room for two) and it cost $130 per night.

However, one thing I didn't realize from reading their Booking listing is that the "Guest house" is an actual CASTLE 😱 it's called "Schlösschen Suresnes" and was built in 1718 🤯🤯🤯 due to the fact that 90% of Munich was destroyed during World War 2, it is pretty incredible that this building, one of the few that survived, is today welcoming guests and tourists.

During my stay there, by coincidence they had no guests so I ended up being all alone inside. Although I got a lot of comments on my postings about this on Instagram about how spooky it seemed, it felt pretty safe as the entire property is gated, and the only way to get there was through the reception.
