This pen, the Moonman C1, may not be extraordinarily ornate or expensive, but it has a definite appeal to me. The pens with lots of clear solid acrylic like this make me think of laboratory glassware, which is something I'm very interested in and inspired by.

There was a lot of smudging in this drawing, I think due to the fancy ink I was using, since I don't usually run into this problem with the regular black inks I use. Well, there's always a little smudging here and there but this was just a lot. Normally this wouldn't be a problem as the majority of fountain pens and fountain pen inks are used to just write stuff, where (unless you have a weird grip) you hardly ever put your hand on top of ink on the paper.

But yeah, I'm a Moonman fan :) I like em!
