JCSAT-14 | LAUNCH AND LANDING FALCON 9 | ЗАПУСК И ПОСАДКА FALCON 9
SpaceX not only managed to carry out start of the carrier rocket Falcon 9 with an orbital communication satellite JCSAT-14 telecommunications operator SKY Perfect JSAT Group, but also to chalk up another successful descent of the spent first stage on a floating barge. Despite fears the very Elon musk (Elon Musk) a relatively soft landing of the first stage due to too high speed of the rocket, landing on a sea platform went without a hitch. The reason for doubt of Mr. Mask was the technical nuances associated with the delivery JCSAT-14 into geostationary orbit. Japanese satellite was supposed to reach a height of about 35 thousand km, while the launch of the cargo ships to the International space station for 400-km up and runs at much lower speeds. The ISS is in low earth orbit, resulting in the first stage of the rocket Falcon 9 is enough to develop at the start speed of 1 km/s. In the case of JCSAT-14 speed, the Falcon 9 reached the level of 2 km/s that could affect the outcome of the mission.
