Glider 300km Utah record attempt

Documenting a gliding Utah state speed record attempt in an ASW-27B sailplane flown from Cedar Valley Airport. Pilot Bruno Vassel IV (B4) talks about various decisions and conditions at various points in the flight. The flight took place on a mild May afternoon in blue (cloudless) conditions and light overall lift but was still much more fun than going to work. :)
