37716 Garston Supershunter 22/06/2021

37716 seen at Garston working the daily (Mon - Sat) shunt moves at Garston Ford Terminal Liverpool. DRS 37s have been used at the terminal to shunt the wagon in/out of the terminal, with Class 88s ued on the main journey from Dagenham to Garston. This working was previously operated by GB Railfreight who utilised 2 x Class 08s to do the shunting around the terminal up until January 2020.
37716 is seen idling away at the start having previously shunted 88008's train of 6L48 empty car wagons to go back to Dagenham. Then that is closely followed by 88006 arriving in with 6X43 loaded from Dagenham; 37716 moves into to place and drags the train into the headshunt. The train is then split up into parts and shunted into the main terminal by 37716.
