BT openreach scam call

Scam Alert UK receive a scam call from a cybercriminal operating from a call centre.
The caller expresses concerns about the internet signal being received. We are asked to check the number of lights illuminating on our router.
Scam Alert UK deliberately keep the caller online for 10 minutes ... (edited to reduce time). 'Sgt. Williams' -Metropolitan Police engages with the cybercriminal, who abruptly brings the call to a sudden end.
