Rusalka - The Enigmatic Water Nymph of Slavic Folklore

The legend of the Rusalka, originating from Slavic folklore, tells of female water spirits. They are said to be the souls of young women who died tragically, such as by drowning. Residing in rivers or lakes, the Rusalka lures men with her beauty and song, and can be either malevolent or benevolent.
