Welcome to Damn Fast!💙 Today we have the electric 2022 Volkswagen ID5 GTX on our show! In this video we will give you our first impressions and overview at the Special Volkswagen Preview Event!

The Electric car revolution is here! And this is Volkswagens answer to electric SUV's such as the Tesla Model Y and Hyundai Kona. We already saw the Volkswagen ID4, the ID5 shares almost everything with the ID4 except for its sloping coupe style roofline, which actually looks pretty good! But is it still practical or is it more of form over function? We find out in this review of the ID5 GTX! This particular Volkswagen ID5 GTX ofcourse has used the VW MEB platform for alle electric Volkswagens such as the ID3 and ID4. This GTX version is the sportier one of the ID5 with 299HP, two electric motor, 21 inch aerodynamic alloys and a lot of sporty interior bits and pieces. Also this car is capable of DC fastcharging up to 135kW. This ID5 GTX has a lithium-Ion battery pack of 77kWh which makes it capable of reaching up to 400 kms of real-life range.
