The $223,700 1964 Special Mint Set: The Mystery of the Extremely Valuable Modern Coins

The 1964 Special Mint Set or Adams coins are among the rarest coins in modern U.S. coin collecting history, and I wanted to make a video highlighting the different denominations, stories, and evolution of these coins. What seems to have been either a preparation for future Special Mint Sets at a transition time at the mint, or a sneaky operation to come up with rare specimen strike coins, has led to an extremely rare and valuable group of coins.
