Pelvic floor prolapse - before and after surgery

Glenys is an 83 year old lady who is one of my Mum's oldest friends and has known me all my life.

Glenys began having prolapse issues and urinary tract infections (UTIs) a few years ago, culminating in a hysterectomy in 2019. Although the hysterectomy resolved the UTIs, she then began to suffer with pelvic organ prolapse and when the pessary rings began to fail, she was advised that surgery was her only option, radical surgery. This is her story.
