THE SCHEDULE FOR SHOE SHOE SH’BOOGIE SPECIAL EDITION: MORNING, NOON & NIGHT!

Back with a bang after a three-year hiatus, Shoe Shoe Sh’Boogie returns with a twelve-hour musical marathon in aid of a very special cause.
From 11am until 11pm, The Shoe Factory Social Club will play host to a swinging extravaganza of dance lessons, taster classes, DJ sets, jazz routines, a Global Shim Sham, live music and much more!
The event will raise funds and awareness for Brain Tumour Research – a cause which is very close to our hearts.
Hannah Colby and Ali Martinez will be dancing continuously for the whole twelve hours (no, they can’t quite believe it either) and they’d love it if you could support their efforts with sponsorship through their JustGiving page:

6pm: GLOBAL SHIM SHAM
We’re asking our dance friends across the world to help us raise awareness by taking this party global! At 6pm, international dancers will be livestreaming into the Facebook event to show their support for Brain Tumour Research and we’d love it if you could all take part. Wherever your dancing buddies may be, please encourage them to take part. Let’s spread an important message – a message of hope

Norwich’s vintage jazz troupe dazzle with a fanfare of fast-paced performances. Get those jazz hands ready!
6.30pm: COLLEGIATE SHAG WITH RUG CUTTERS’ Paul Claydon
Paul’s reputation as teacher and DJ stretches far beyond the bounds of East Anglia, and now, fresh from teaching and performing at Twinwood, he’s here to put you through your Collegiate Shag paces
EVENING SCHEDULE: £7pp OTD FOR THE WHOLE NIGHT (ALL PROCEEDS TO BRAIN TUMOUR RESEARCH)
7.30pm: THE HOT CLUB
Our ticketed evening event kicks off here as the Hot Club raise the temperature and warm you up for a night of non-stop dancing!
8.30pm: THE HARD WORKING BLUES BAND PLUS SPECIAL GUESTS
The boys are back to clean up this town! Expect swinging R&B, danceable originals, old favourites, a few surprises and some familiar faces too
9.30pm: THE HOT CLUB
The hottest vintage dance and music trio on the East Coast will have you cooking on gas with their sizzling smorgasbord of music
10.00pm: THE HARD WORKING BLUES BAND
Keeping you on the boil until the end of the night with jumpin’ fun tunes. Bring your sunglasses – it’s going to be a scorcher!
Don’t forget that Hannah Colby & Ali Martinez will be dancing for the whole twelve hours, so please feel free to ask us to dance in the social sessions and join in with us too. Your support and encouragement will help our feet to keep moving!
Sessions may be subject to change at short notice. All classes are free but we would welcome donations. Tickets for the evening event are limited - they will be on sale throughout the day, so if you're only coming for the evening session, please arrive early to avoid disappointment!
