OBS Intro - A Basic Introduction

Hi everyone,

I noticed OBS videos get more views than anything else I'm creating so I made another one. Feel free to use this video to learn or teach OBS. I'm also providing my website that is shown in the video if anyone wants to use it to instruct your students.

I captured most of the video with OBS. Download OBS here. OBS is free but it does come with a steep learning curve that can be made easier by watching videos like mine....I hope.

I captured additional footage such as active views of the various panels at the bottom of OBS screen, using WeVideo. I then pieced everything together using WeVideo. I use the paid subscription of about $35 a month. My laptop only has 8GB of memory and no video card so using WeVideo's web-based video editor helps me to create high quality videos on a medium spec computer.

I used my Samsung Android phone as my webcam. The video is captured by the phone and send to my computer over the USB cable. My phone runs the Android app while my Windows computer run a client app from E2Soft. The app is called iVCam. There is a 1-time payment for this program of either$9.99 for a year or 24:95 for unlimited use.
