Happy women's day to all of us.
I am Ruchi Singh from @RuchiSinghTalks. I just wanted to say a quick hi and share this with anyone going through a difficult time... No power in the world can empower you, till the time you choose to empower yourself. Gwyneth Paltrow, Ashley Judd, Jennifer Lawrence, and Uma Thurman are just few of the brave but very powerful celebrities who used #me too and and #Timesup to share their stories of exploitation with the world.

These are very powerful trends which have helped in uncovering the truth about some very powerful, influential people who had been using their power to sexually harass and assault people (Majority of them women but a large no of men too).

However, these ladies did not need this trend to comeout and share their stories.
So what changed, did this movement suddenly empowered them… before this also… these were very powerful influential people in their own right… their single tweet gets retweeted thousands of times globally and a tweet from them about their exploitation would have made internatinal news.… that's the reach and influence they carry… so what changed…. The laws are in place … and were in place before #metoo

They changed... they decided that they had enough and finally took a stand for themselves.

So, coming back to my point.... dont wait for anyone once to empower you. #Empoweryourself. We all are stronger than we know.
Change the way you look at yourself, the world will change for you.
