Volkswagen ID.4 GTX: The GTI for the EV generation?

If anyone was going to make an all-electric GTI-style EV work, you'd put money on Volkswagen. This new GTX performance EV sub-brand sees its debut with the ID.4 GTX. It certainly looks the part, and is more engaging than the standard ID.4, but does it deliver the excitement GTI-lovers expect?
