Sanding + Prepping to Paint the RV
Connect with me 👉🏼 https://linktr.ee/understandingsolarpower
Today is all about prepping for painting… and that means sanding the place from floor to ceiling. But before we can begin sanding, we have to fill in the seams where we repaired the water-damaged areas using wood putty. We also create custom cab pieces and remove the carpet that was underneath the bathroom vanity (which we demolished in last week’s video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvmD7XOTMdw)
Once all of that is finished, it’s time to get messy. We sand every square inch of the RV interior - using an electric sander for most areas and hand-sanding the corners and tiny areas. It’s just nuts how much dust there was!
After all of the sanding is finished, we vacuum every surface and wipe up any remaining dust with a damp rag. And no renovation job is complete without a dance off :-)
