WHY I STOPPED SAVING PASSWORDS IN BROWSERS

I stopped saving passwords in Chrome after this👇🏽

I used to save all my passwords in Chrome—until I learned how easy it is to steal them.

And no, I’m not talking about “getting hacked” the Hollywood way. I mean real, quiet, everyday hacks that most people don’t notice until it’s too late.

Here’s how it happens:
– A malware-infected PDF or email can run background scripts and extract saved passwords
– Physical access? Someone can open your browser settings and export every password in seconds
– Some browser extensions with shady permissions can pull login info without asking
– Even info-stealing malware like RedLine, Vidar, or Raccoon can dump browser credentials in under 10 seconds

⚠️ Browser = convenience, not security.
If you care about your accounts, don’t use Chrome or Safari to keep them safe.

🔐 Use a real password manager
🗑️Delete browser-saved passwords
📴 Turn off auto sign-in
👀 You’ll thank yourself later

💬 Comment “password help” and I’ll DM you a solid list of free + paid password managers I personally recommend.
