On September 22, 2012, the Pro-Life Action League gathered eight former abortion workers in Chicago, Illinois to share the stories of how they left the abortion industry and became advocates for life.

Ruth Yorston describes how, in high school, she spent nearly a year working with her mother at an abortion clinic without knowing what was being done there. After reading about early fetal development, she realized she could no longer work at the clinic, and left her job within the next week. She has since become an active member of the pro-life movement.
