Requiem For a Home - Exploring The Abandoned Fisher-Byington Mansion in Danville, Kentucky

In this video we will explore this abandoned and now demolished mansion known as the Fisher-Byington House located in Danville, Kentucky. This historic Greek Revival home was built in 1846 by architect Robert Russel Jr., who also designed and built several other notable, and now historic buildings in Danville. Sadly, this stately home will be demolished soon to make way for storage units. Support your local preservation groups, the work they do is vital to preserving the structures that represent the history of an area.This video is longer than most, but please stick around, we will be exploring every inch of this grand and decaying antebellum mansion.
