Fixing My Punto's Steering Buttons

My fiat Grande Punto Steering mounted controls were not working very well. I mean they were working but not the way I want them to work...
I mean if I press 'Next' Button 'Source' Works and if I press 'Volume +' that makes it 'Mute'. So that was quite irritating and made them unusable.
So that's why I took a decision to open my Fiat Grande punto Steering buttons and try to clean them with Nail polish remover which is very mild.
