Does your RC Car Require Oil or Lubrication for some of its Parts / Components?

Any mechanical system can suffer from friction that could rob you of power or even prematurely wear out the parts. Lubricating components can reduce the friction between to moving and mating parts reducing wear and friction. The big question is, do you need to oil or lubricate parts on your RC Car?

Bearings have one of the tightest tolerances out of all components and parts in an RC. However, almost all bearing used on RC cars are shielded and do not need any form of maintenance. This includes lubrication. Trying to lubricate the bearing won't do you any good. As for the rest of the parts in a typical RC Car, we cover this in the video.
