How to find out if your car AC system is overcharged or undercharged. When AC compressor turns ON and OFF, and the low side pressure becomes too high, your system may be under or overcharged. You can measure the static pressure, and compare it to the ambient temperature chart. And that will give you an idea if you need to add Freon to your car or release some.
