"That’s not how a Christian should act!" Ever caught yourself thinking that? It’s easy to judge someone’s actions, especially when we think they should know better. But here’s the thing, before Zacchaeus met Jesus, he was a greedy tax collector. Jesus didn’t lecture him. He didn’t shame him. He simply loved him. And because of that love, Zacchaeus changed.

The Bible tells us to hold each other accountable as believers (1 Corinthians 5:12), but judgment isn’t for the lost, love is. The new life comes after salvation, not before.

So the next time you feel the urge to judge, pause and ask: Am I expecting someone to act saved before they even know the Savior? Instead of judgment, let’s lead with love because love is what brings people to Jesus. 💙
