Tutorial: Adding places of worship to OpenStreetMap

Using Field Papers and the iD Editor, this tutorial shows OpenStreetMap beginners how to edit the database and add churches, mosques, synagogues, temples, and other places of worship, into the map database used by maps and apps around the world.

Please obey local laws when mapping and consider the situation where you are. Only places of worship that have public signs, and can be verified by other mappers on the ground, should be added to OpenStreetMap.
