Ticks choose humans over dogs in warmer temperatures

Scientists in the US have found that in warmer conditions, ticks prefer to feed off humans rather than dogs. The study by the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine has significant implications as global heating takes hold, particularly in the US where it is anticipated that tropical lineage brown dog ticks currently found across southern US states will move north
